Jan Aushadhi program was launched in Kerala in Dec 2016 by Deepak Distributors as the First distributor for Jan Aushadhi in Kerala.
The first Store was inaugurated in Trichur on Jan 2016, now there are over 900 Jan Aushadhi stores in Kerala, and Deepak Distributors has played a vital role in creating awareness about the programs in the State and in supporting and hand holding new stores
The “Kerala Model” of growth in the number of Stores initiated by Deepak Distributors was acknowledged and appreciated by the PMBI Management
Kerala contribute to over 10% of the number of Jan Aushadhi stores in the country and Sales Turnover
Kerala, even now retains the position for the fasted growing State with regards to the number of New Stores
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Comprises a Team of Professionals with years of experience in the Pharma Industry, Consumer Retail Industry Supply Chain and Logistics, Ware house Management, IT, ERP, CRM, Data Analytics, Accounting and Corporate Finance
Customer Relations and support Team
- A 12-member CRM team to support the Stores
- 3 Member team with 20 dedicated lines to receive calls
- 2 member team exclusively to support onboarding of new stores
- A tech support team to assist stores with the implementation and support of DPOS software
- 3 of the partners, CEO and the Head of operations are always present at Deepak Distributors, where every issue is escalated immediately and
resolved
ORDER MANAGEMENT
- Deepak Distributors has launched state of the art order management system supported by ERP for easy order processing and delivery
- 6 member team to assist Customers with order Placement
- The order processing system will enable the customers to get real-time stock availability and feedback on the status of their orders from Approvals to Dispatch
- Order management team will be available from 8 am to 8 pm
FACILITIES
- 15,000 Sqft Temperature controlled storage facilities
- Provisions for loading and unloading within the compound
- The warehouse and stock picking staff is operational 24×7 to ensure that
- orders are dispatched with 24-48 hours
- Order picking, packing, and dispatch is operated and monitored through the ERP modules and dashboards where the customers can see real-time status of their orders through the ERP modules
- Deepak Distributors have their own transport vehicles to ensure a speedier delivery of goods even to remotest parts of the State
- We are in the process of including the delivery module in the ERP so that the customers can see real-time the live location of the vehicles and delivery status

Mr. Prem Thacholi
over 25 years of experience in senior management positions in the consumer retail industry, having worked in management positions in Gillette Industries, Mettur Beardrsells, Geep Industries, C&F and distribution, operation for over 15 years with companies like 3M, Abbot, and ICI pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Aswini Thacholi
Served in Indian Navy for 15 years and Muscat Navy for 10 years, 15 years of experience in C&F and Distribution for Exide batteries in Kerala.
Mr. Ullas Thacholi
Served- in the Indian Army for 15 years , subsequently has worked in Kudermukh Iron ore company for the 10 years. 15 Years of experience in C&F and distributions, operations in Kerala
